| Leirain Koray | Note: This has nothing to do with any of my characters, or anyone elses. I just felt like writing a little diddy cause, I felt like it! It had been another cold night. The air a constant chill down her spine. She couldn't look back now, no, not at all. The rain was only a nuisance, a side dish to the meal she had just created. The man had been left in the alleyway. That horrible stench seemed to just seep into one's clothing. Her clothes were torn, sliced, she was quivering, but making her way down the street. Everyone would easily say it was self defense, he had tried to harm her in a way no man nor woman should do to another. And he had paid the price, but how did she do it? Not even she knew. All had been black, tranquil, yet a voice had been calling to her, a female voice. One that had been haunting her dreams for the past weeks, a soft, almost heaven like tone of voice. It truly had been entrancing, she had heard that voice this very night. Once she had awoken, the man was dead, a terrified expression permanently locked on his face, his lips, his eyes, all cried out to her in horror, considering the head had been a few disgusting feet away from the mans body, which had been in equal torment. Torn to shreds, the blood covered the brick, the dumpsters, the piles of rotting trash. But now, she had made it home, and thank goodness she still had most of her belongings, especially her keys. That shower sure sounded nice, and it was. What seemed to be the fifth police cruiser drove up to the crowd of citizens that on their own blockaded the street, and the alleyway. Pushing through the sea of bodies, he went beneath the police tape. What he saw instantly made his stomach churn, not once in his fifteen years of being on duty had he seen a single individual slaughtered, yes, slaughtered was the word he thought of, not murdered, but slaughtered. All the entrails, the limbs, and most of all his head in that contorted frightened look only made his stomach want to upchuck his breakfast. "Holy shit..." Was all the officer could say. Quite the stunned look on his face, until the detective in charge came up to him, waving his hand in front of his face. "White male, early thirties, lives in Burn Town. His name is Harold Laview. He was wanted for breaking and entering. Grand theft auto, and attempted rape." The detective paused a moment, pulling out a cigarette from a crumpled pack of Marlboro red's, followed by a quick hand gesture where he lit the cigarette with a black Bic lighter, inhaled, and exhaled. Talking around the cigarette he continued. "Judging by well, his erection on what's left of that area of his body, he was having a bit of fun, probably raping someone. Or it could have been a prostitute, never know." "Well, whoever did this did us all a favor I guess. But even then, scum like him didn't deserve to be torn apart like he was." Replied the police officer. "So tell me Dave, what in God's name slaughters a rapist quickly enough for him to keep that expression, and that erection hmm?" "Fuck if I know, maybe the girl he was getting it on with did that John?" The detective shrugged, puffing a tad more upon that cigarette of his, the rest of the investigation crew was finishing up with their pictures and evidence gathering, but there wasn't much evidence except the mutilated man. She woke up, groggy, sore, but overall she felt great. A walk to the kitchen, a pour of cereal and milk. Then a plop onto the squishy couch with a click of a switch, the news came on. News on of course, the scene that she had left previously that night. Her skin turned pale white, that voice in her head murmuring to her. "I do like my handiwork." Then a soft chuckle and it was gone. "I need to get out of here..." What she hadn't noticed is was she had never picked up her spoon, but yet she was eating. A single pitch black tentacle had been feeding her. Unfortunately she hadn't been paying attention, for it was slithering from beneath her shirt, and connected to her spine, or, coming out of it that is. No one knew where this murderous voice was coming from. "But of course you know where to find me, should you need my private eye to help you solve this case, Dave...
