| Yannis_Martynov | This is not new. It was at the old forums, and it's related to the retribution blade background story that was linked there... anyway... here goes: One rainy evening, Yannis walked down on an isolated, dark underground antique shop... down at Little China. Only the owner was in, besides him, and he started wandering around, trying to determine what really dragged him into this small pit. His Hunger was growing, and the old man was clearly not good enough for a decent feast. And then he saw it... a Cruor sword, in a well protected display case, highly ornated... unlike the common Cruor blades, this one appeared to be made from pure gold. Yannis stood enchanted by the beauty of the blade... voices, unlike any voices he heard before whispered into his mind, urging him to take the sword at any cost. He could even feel his hand reaching up, trying to touch the case... the old man came, and in broken English tried to stop him from touching the blade... "Sword no sale. Sword no sale I say. No money good enough. Sword no sale!" he started yelling, making Yannis tun and growl angrily at him. In a mad rush like nothing he experienced before...... he grabbed the old man by his neck and lifted him off the ground. Laughing insanely, and revealing his nature to the old man, he sinked his fangs into his flesh, feeding gredily. Blood spilled all over the place, making the blade glow, in a way no other Cruor blade had glown before, as if the blood from the old man, was giving the blade pleasure... with the old man dead, fallen before his feet, and blood all over his body, Yannis punched and broke the glass, cutting his hand... the blood, touching the blade made it resonate, and a sweet, demonic howl echoed from it. As if hypnotised, Yannis reached and took the blade and its sheath. Fastening it around, he found himself talking to it, as if it was alive. "Shhhh... be quiet... the old man is gone now... and you are free again" he whispered, as he was walking up the few steps, out to the road... soon, he saw a young angel walking nearby, and the impulse was too strong to resist. He drew the blade, and let its glow guide his arm, slaying the angel...... Slain after slain, he drew more bond with the sword, talking to it for many hours, completely disconnected from his surroundings. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months, months into years... and his physique kept changing, turning him from pale to steel, and from steel to pitch black... and, as his already wiked soul got consumed totally by the curse of the blade, the marks carved on his body, and horns, black ram horns appeared. He was now a shade, as his soul was, for the blade brought out the darkness he held within. In the years that came, he learned to control the power, and shift his appearance at will, but the true Master was the blade, not the wielder... and, soon, they became one, vampire and blade... his sword and his hand became one, as he could summon the blade at any moment... | 01/08/09 21:27 |
