| ChasityDawes | Very Beginning of her backstory, i'll write more onto it later. She woke with a start unsure at first why. Then she heard it again the sound of hushed voices the familiar creaking of the stairs. But that didn’t make sense. Her Da had taken her older siblings out hunting leaving just her and her old granny who had the joint aches and would never climb the stairs let alone in the middle of the night. Besides she’d gone to bed long before Chasity trusting the girl to observe her own hours despite her young age, and these were too careful, too hushed to be her siblings. Chas ducked her head under the covers, curling herself into a ball, nothing bad could happen to you if you stayed under the covers she thought. Unfortunately she was soon proven wrong. The successive sound of doors opening on the second floor where her room was beginning drifting to her ears each one louder then the next as the sound drew closer the beings making it becoming more confident, convinced that no one else was home.She clutched her knees desperately eye closed tightly convinced that somehow they wouldn’t see her wouldn’t take her. She’d heard stories about the savage men, Horrible tale that would make your hair stand on end, stories of cannibalism, conscription, murder, rape...anything and everything a mind could imagine. She knew that must be who was outside her door, who was coming up her stairs, she tried to make herself as small as possible, she prayed and wished. They found her though, her door slamming open, the scent of blood and dirt coming in strong in the small space. Her eyes tight closed, sheets pulled high over her head she couldn't see anything only hear as a loud unfamiliar voice, almost as loud as the door had been roared “What’s this then?” ripping away the tattered much used covers, her last illusion of protection and safety exposing the small hairless girl curled beneath. He'd reach for her arm, pulling her forcefully off of the bed, making her stand as it for inspection, she was small, young, dressed in clothes much to large for herself, too scared even to cry young enough to appear sexless. Her eyes would open slowly, finally, seeing five men crowded into the room, all of them seeming to be staring at her, leering, all of them well armed, and all of them seemed to be well used to living rough bearded and unkempt for the most part, still there was an air of discipline about them. One man stepped forward, examining her closely, he was older then the rest, more grizzled, his beard greying, an almost fatherly look to him had there been anything kind about his face. he'd reach down, gripping her jaw firmly, laughing as she tried to snap at him "Take it with us." he half grunts. releasing her. "We need warm bodies, it's young enough to train up...and if not the other's need food." With that, the man holding her grabbed her other wrist, swiftly binding them, he swung her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes, not seeming to mind the frail kicks she aimed at his chest. carting her down the stairs, he paused on the first floor landing, taking her into the room that had been her Gran's "That's what happen to those don't listen to us." he says with a smirk, showing her the body sprawled on the bed, throat slit, garment torn, forcing her to look when she tried to turn her head away, tried to block out the horror, forcing her to see it all until she finally went limp in his grasp unresisting. ------------------------------------- They took her back to their camp, a makeshift one at first, then after a cursory examination, insuring she wasn't diseased, they led her to their base it was a few days travel, they made her stay in their tents, chained her to the ground like a dog at night. Forced her to walk until she collapsed, but fed her well. "You're an investment now girl." The old man leered at her as they finally reached the end of their journey, shoving her into a cabin full of other children, "Better live up." | 06/14/10 19:43 |
| ChasityDawes | A few weeks after they took her, They pull her from the room where she was normally kept, three men. none of them familar, they throw her in a room force a gun into her hands. Nothing special, but still deadly. "Kill him." They told her, pointing toward the boy chained in a corner of the room. He was maybe fifteen, malnourished bruised, but still very familar to her, still recognizable despite his injuries, she'd known him all his life. He was her brother, Aaron. The men behind her laughed seeing the shock on her face, the pain there obvious she began to weep, tears flowing down her face, obscuring her vision. She let the gun dangle, befind to fall from her grasp. Stiffening as one of the men place the barrel of his own weapon against of the back of her head firmly. "Kill him bitch." the man growled his friends laughing as he cocks the gun, another taunting her "Plenty of other little whores around here, you're disposable." She swallowed nervoously, bringing the gun back up, it felt massive in her tiny hands she'd choke back a sob, holding the weapon as they had taught her, aiming at the pitiful form, she pulled the trigger, over and over again, the reports loud, echoing in the small space. She kept pulling at the trigger, over and over again, long after the gun was empty and silent, it's fire dead just as Aaron was, Kept squeezing until one of the men took the gun from her hands, using his own pistol to place a final bullet in the boy's head, just in case, and then took the body from the room. leaving here there with the blood and the stench of death.
