Some would call them vigilantes, some heroes. Whatever your perspective, the Vanguard are actually a very old order, dating back to the days of the Templars. Originally founded to protect and shelter people from the persecutions of the church, the order was all but annihilated over the years. It would however rise again, in the world's darkest hour. Re-founded by Roland Goddard and his closest friends, the Vanguard are a group of people dedicated to protecting life, peace, and the greater good. Though geared towards peace, they're by no means pacifists, and are always prepared to take up arms to defend those in need.
